Sunday afternoons at The Purnell School, Potterville, NJ
Monday nights at the New York Sports Club, East Brunswick, NJ
Thursday nights at The Purnell School
Learn new skills and tactics and improve your game play. All ages are invited to attend. Then print and complete the "Waiver" and "Code of Conduct" and mail with your payment to Spirit Eagles Field Hockey Group. Just download and fill out the forms to mail in with your payment.

Spirit Eagles is happy to announce the FALL SKILL TRAINING is now out!
These sessions are for athletes that are looking to LEARN the game and how to handle your stick. Players will be in small groups at first to improve their skill base. Training is done on Turf.
USA Field Hockey High Performance Coach Bobby Issar runs sessions; Director of Spirit Eagles along with other quality coaches will be there to enhance you skills and game sense.
Space will fill quickly so download the Fall Session Training form and fill them out and send with payment. Session will be held at the Hun school at Princeton in the afternoons.

BILLY EARNED SECOND GOLD MEDAL IN A ROW AT JUNIOR OLYMPICS!!
Samantha “Sammy: Billy a sophomore from Bridgewater, NJ comes away earning her second gold medal in only 2 years playing in the junior Olympics held in Hampton Roads, Va. Playing for the Pink team earning a win in the gold medal game over the Blue team 3-1. A 3-year club member of Spirit Eagles the club is very proud of her accomplishments both on and off the field! Keep in up SAMMY!!!

Issar named to the 2006 USA Field Hockey High Performance Coaches Pool
For the 11th consecutive year, Bobby Issar has been named by USA Field Hockey to the High Performance Coaches Pool for 2006. This year, Bobby has been asked to lead the training in the New York Regional Training Center for the US Men's National Team.
USA Men's Field Hockey has established six Regional Training Centers (RTC) as the foundation of their new National High Performance program. Each RTC will be facilitating the development of local field hockey players into potential US National and Junior National Team Members. Each center will be taking local players who are seriously committed in taking this opportunity to develop individual and group technical skills, team tactical concepts and who strive to compete at the international level. Following 6-8 weeks of training, the program culminates in the selection of the Senior and Junior teams who will represent the New York Region at the RTC Championship in San Diego, CA June 21-25, 2006.
As a former member of the US Men's National Team, Bobby is excited about this new opportunity to lead the US Men's training program in the New York City area. He is proud of his 20+ year relationship with USA Field Hockey and is looking forward to assisting the Men's program.

Spirit Eagles wins Montclair State University afternoon 7v7 Field Hockey Tournament
Led by Coach Dennis Lallo, the Spirit Eagles field hockey team won the afternoon 7v7 field hockey tournament at Montclair State University on Sunday, April 23, 2006. Representing Spirit Eagles were: Samantha Billy, Colleen Carey, Maria Caro, Rebecca Dobiesz, Cindy Donald, Heather Jones and Noel MacNaughton.

2006 National Hockey Festival Tryouts Dates Announced
The Spirit Eagles Field Hockey Group will hold tryouts for their U19 and U16 National Hockey Festival Teams on May 7th and May 14th.
- May 7th tryout will be held at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ
- May 14th tryout will be held at The Hun School in Princeton, NJ
- Tryouts begin at 9am and will run three hours
Spirit Eagles has been a long standing participant in the National Hockey Festival. In fact, due to the success Spirit Eagles has achieved, it has been awarded and is guaranteed three U19 entries.

Announcing Spring Skills Training Sites and Locations and Goalie Clinic
Spring Skills Sessions will be held at three sites beginning in April 2006. The three sites are The Hun School in Princeton, NJ, Pinelands Sports Center in Southhampton, NJ and The Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ. All of the sessions will be led by Bobby Issar. The clinics will be five weeks with each session running two hours.
- Pinelands sessions begin Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 10am
- The Hun School sessions begin on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 10:30am;
- The Peddie School sessions begin on Tuesday night, April 24, 2006 at 7pm
In addition to the Spring Skills Training, we are introducing the Goalie Clinic which will be led by Steve Wagner, former Men's National Team goalie. Goalies will learn proper technique, including kicking, kick saves, hand saves and more.
- Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the Pinelands Sports Center beginning at 10am.

Announcing a New Location for Bobby Issar's Top 200 Elite Field Hockey Day Camp
Bobby Issar's Top 200 Elite Field Hockey Day Camp will be held the week of July 24, 2006 on the campus of The Hun School in Princeton, NJ.
As a current member of the US Women's National Team High Performance Coaching Staff and a former Men's National Team Player, Bobby has been playing and training elite field hockey players for over 20 years. In addition to Bobby, the Top 200 Elite Field Hockey camp will have a staff of qualified coaches with international playing experience.
The Top 200 Elite Field Hockey Camp will accommodate high school teams as well as individual players. Teams will learn game strategy and tactics while each athlete will raise their personal level of play, improve their skills and build confidence.

U16 Player Alexa Biale "Saves" the Day for Milburn Team at Indoor Qualifier (See Photo on Photos Page)
After Spirit Eagles goalie, Cameron Lan, suffered an injury in the first round of crossovers at a U16 Indoor Qualifier on Sunday January 15, 2006 in Collegeville, PA, another member of the Milburn team, Alexa Biale, stepped up and played in the cage for the remainder of the tournament. Biale, also a lacrosse goalie, was a great last-minute replacement for the injured Lan, making several key saves, including 2 saves on strokes. Due to the excellent play of Biale and the rest of the Milburn team, the girls went on to qualify for the National Indoor Tournament at Hampton, VA in March. The entire Spirit Eagles family sends its congratulations to the Milburn team and wishes Cameron a speedy recovery!
