12/2004

For Immediate Release: December 30, 2004

Bobby Issar Selector for U.S. Women's National Indoor Field Hockey Team

On Friday, December 17, 2004, tryouts for the National U.S. Indoor Women's
Field Hockey team were held at the Sportsplex in Feasterville, PA.

Bobby Issar, Director of the Spirit Eagles Field Hockey Group, participated

as a selector for the USA Women's National Team.  As a selector, Bobby
spent many hours evaluating 25 players from 8 states choosing a squad of
12-15 women.  Athletes selected to the U.S. squad will become eligible to
represent the U.S. at the Pan American Cup in 2005-06 where the two top
teams are expected to qualify for the Indoor World Cup scheduled for
2007 in Vienna, Austria.

National Indoor Coach Scott Smith requested Issar's assistance as a selector.
As a former member of the U.S. Men's National Team who represented the
U.S. at the World Cup, Pan American Games, 10 Olympic Festivals, and with
over 20 years of coaching the elite field hockey player, Bobby has a proven track
record of field hockey success.  While leading Spirit Eagles, Bobby has had the
opportunity to train players of all skill levels who want to improve their game
and who have a desire to play at the next level.
