Welcome to the Spirit Eagles Group (SEG) NJ Elite Field Hockey training and NJ field hockey camps!. SEG is the largest and most respected field hockey club and training program in the nation. SEG has training sites across NJ which include the Stevens Institute of Technology, The Purnell School, The Pingry School and The Peddie School to name a few. We are leaders in teaching the game of field hockey for the NJ, NY, and CT tri-state area.
Head coach Bobby Issar believes that winners are made, not born. His desire to teach and coach correct form brings each player's skills to a new level. He leads the team and provides a strong foundation for current and future field hockey play as many of the team's members go on to play for some of the nation's top ranking college and university teams.

Announcing May/June Skills turf training session
May 15, 2008

Spirit Eagles now has available to player who wants to learn the skills and tactics of the game. Location of skill training is:

Tuesday evenings and the Peddle school
Wednesday evenings at Millburn HS
Thursday evenings at the Hun School in Princeton Starting on May15
Sunday mornings at the Hun School in Princeton in June 1 on Sundays and Thursday June 6.

Session will offer 40 minute to 1 hours of learning the basics and skill required to play the game at a high level. The last hour is games and tactics during game where player learn the right decision to make in any given situation. All session are on turf. Space will limited so act quickly to lock in your spot!!!

Spirit Eagles try outs information

If you receiving this email you have register via website. On MAY 11 try out date the LOCATION IS CHANGED. If you sign up for the May 11 try out please report to the PEDDIE SCHOOL in Hightstown, NJ. The trials start at 9am and run to 12 pm. WE START AT 9 please arrive early so we can get started

Due to overwhelming poplar demand we have another try out date and location! May 31 in Rye, NY detail to follow

Try out locations as 5-1-08
May 11 the Peddie School, Hightstown, NJ 9 to 12
May 18 the Hun School, Princeton, NJ 9 to 12
May 31 Rye, NY

Try out cost is 40 dollar per try out. After a player register please mail the waiver forms signed and the check payable to SEG. Please mail payment to:

Payment must be receive before you can take part. All try out players MUST be a member of US field hockey for insurance coverage. You can sign up for membership on line by clicking here.

Player should bring to try outs:
Turf shoes
Running shoes (track testing will occur)
Shin guard
Mouth guard
Color and white shirts
Water bottle
Please hydrate before trial the night before
